As we enter election week,  it is clear that many people are still deciding who to vote into City Hall.  Brian Paddick’s team has launched their “Won’t Vote Boris, Can’t Vote Ken” campaign, as residents show little enthusiasm for either.  Both have let down residents, both can be seen as inner London Mayor’s, leaving little for outer London borough’s like Kingston and both have spent the election period bickering about the past.

We all know Brian’s experience on the Police force and his dedication to providing real solutions to crime.  Through good partnership working and an excellent police force, Kingston is fortunate to be low crime, but we must not be complacent.  Last summer’s riots were the worse in a generation and we need Brian’s experience.  But he also has fresh, but considered, ideas such as fairer fares for public transport and affordable housing.
