David Berry, who was the Liberal Democrat Councillor for Alexandra Ward in Surbiton/Tolworth from 2002-2010, sadly passed away this week after a long battle against cancer.  David was also Mayor of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames in 2008/09.

I worked closely with David when we co-chaired the Surbiton Neighbourhood Committee together. He was dedicated to doing his best for the residents of Alexandra Ward and I know he throughly enjoyed his year as Mayor.  It is very sad news that he lost his battle with cancer and our thoughts are with his family at this time.
