This year’s Christmas lights switch on is set to be the best yet.  The activities start at 3pm on Thursday 27th November, with Santa arriving on the station forecourt at 4.30pm and the big countdown at 5pm. Then there will be stalls and music through to 8pm in Victoria Road.

Our thanks go to the Turn it on, Surbiton committee and Surbiton Business Community who have been working hard all year to make this event happen.  There will be farm animals, face painting, stalls, local bands and much more.  I feel Christmas really begins when we have this event and my children love it.  The whole community can get involved and enjoy a great early evening out celebrating all that’s great about living in Surbiton.
