Boris Johnson, Conservative Mayor for London, wants to cut back our local police teams.  His plan is to reduce our safer neighbourhood teams across the borough.  These are front line police services, we want him to reduce the Met’s bureaucracy to make the savings.

John Ayles, the Liberal Democrat candidate in the by-election in Surbiton Hill, is campaigning to retain all the police sergeants across our local Safer Neighbourhood Teams and has started a petition calling on Boris not to cut the local safer neighbourhood teams.  I fully support his campaign and hope St Mark’s residents will sign the petition.
