Kingston Council tax bills for the new year 2012/13 will be issued on 14th March and are likely to arrive on door mats between 15th March and the 17th March. A total of approximately 64,000 bills will be issued together with over 11,000 annual housing benefit notices. It is expected that the Revenue and Benefit teams will experience an increase in customer telephone calls over this period. Please be assured that all Revenue and Benefit staff will be answering the telephones during this very busy time but inevitably customers may experience some delay in getting through.
Kingston Council have taken the opportunity this year to improve the notices that it issues to residents and the bill will be issued attached to any benefit notices, single person discount questionnaire, and payment vouchers that are appropriate. Therefore residents who have elected to make their payments using a payment booklet will now receive these as payment vouchers as part of the bill and not a separate payment booklet.
