The Oakhill Community Heritage Project aims to collect, preserve and share the rich history of Oakhill area of Surbiton.

The partners in the Surbiton Hospital Redevelopment – the local NHS, Council, GP’s and Your Healthcare working with Hillcroft College were successful in bidding to the Heritage Lottery Fund to research and capture the history of Oakhill in Surbiton focusing on the history of healthcare and education.

The project is now looking for volunteers to get involved, to interview local people and to research local history, we are also looking for volunteers to interview and share information they hold about the area.

The information captured will be stored on the website www.OCHP.ORG.UK and in a display in the grounds of the health centre site.
