Glenmore House applies to be a marriage venue

glenmore houseKingston Council has received an application for Glenmore House in The Crescent to be approved as a venue for civil marriages and civil partnerships. 

The venue in the heart of Surbiton is frequently used for functions – including last week’s Maple Villiage WI Christmas Fayre and Surbiton’s Community plan.

Public notice

Notice of application for premises to be approved as a venue for marriages in pursuance of Section 26(1)(bb) of the Marriage Act 1949 and civil partnerships in pursuance of Section 6(3a)(a) of the Civil Partnership Act 2004.
  • Robert Kerr Dobbie, has applied to the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames for a licence under the above named Acts for Glenmore House, 6 The Crescent, Surbiton, KT6 4BN.

The grant of such licences would permit civil marriage ceremonies and formation of civil partnerships to take place within designated rooms on the premises.

Full details of the conditions for granting a licence can be obtained from the Proper Officer for Registration Matters, Register Office, 35 Coombe Road, Kingston, KT2 7BA.

Any person wishing to see this application and plans of the premises may do so at the Register Office, 35 Coombe Road, Kingston upon Thames, KT2 7BA, during its normal opening hours.

Any person wishing to object to this application may only do so in writing to the Proper Officer for Registration Matters at the above address and must be received within twenty one days of the date of this publication. (Dated 2 December 2013.)
