The planning application for the expansion of Maple Infants school has been submitted to Kingston Council.  The application is for the “Erection of two storey classroom unit with connected link to existing school” for when the school expands to a permanent 3 form entry from September 2015.

It came to our attention that the plans have not been shared with the parents at the school just as the winter term was finishing.  Whilst the date listed for comments has passed, as with all planning consultations that will be decided by a Councillor committee, the Council will take any comments up to the day of that committee.  We expect that to be in February.  We have asked the school to share the details in the new term, so parents have an opportunity comment as they did with the expansion of the neighbouring St Andrews and St Marks Junior School.
