Last year at the Surbiton Food Festival, the Kingston Pound was trailed.  This year it has moved to electronic money (in partnership with Surrey Save Credit Union) and can be spent at a variety of shops and eating places in Surbiton, with more signing up all the time.

The idea behind the Kingston Pound is to keep money in the local area, creating opportunities for growth and local employment.
