A new planning application for the Dairy Crest site on corner of Lower Marsh Lane and Villiers Avenue has been submitted to Kingston Council.
This application is for 49 residential units comprising 17 x 1 bed, 12 x 2 bed, 18 x 3 bed and 2 x 4 bed, configured as a mix of houses, flats and maisonettes. The plans include 10 affordable units (7 x 1 bed, 2 x 2 bed and 1 x 3 bed). There remains retail at ground level in the corner building.
We spoke out against the original application for 80+ flats proposed by the developer for this site. We’ll be looking in detail at this application but we’d be interested to hear your comments and if it meets many residents concerns on over-development, height and lack of affordable housing. Let us know.

Any residents wishing to comment needs to send them to Kingston Council by 9th November 2015. The decision to permit or refuse will be made by the Development Control committee in the future.
Full details of the application can be seen under planning reference number 15/16840
